The blood type diet has been a resounding success for nearly twenty years. Proponents of diet according to the blood type suggest that your blood type determines what are the best foods for your health. A growing number of people swear by this diet, even claiming that they saved their lives.

The current bearer of this theory is the naturopath Peter J. Adamo. His book 4 Blood Types, 4 Lifestyles was an incredible success. He was bestseller at the New York Times and sold out several million copies.

Adamo proclaims that if an individual follows a diet containing proteins incompatible with his blood group, he is likely to experience pathological symptoms such as gas, weight gain, apathy, idling metabolism and even some diseases such as diabetes and cancer.

Conversely, when the individual is eating a diet appropriate to their blood group, they can see positive effects on their health. Among them, weight loss, better energy and digestion, less allergies etc.

Diet Of Blood Type O

More than any other group, the people of the group should avoid cereals and especially WHEAT and POTATO.

The diet of type O is therefore mainly based on proteins (meat, fish), fruits, and vegetables approaching the famous “paleo” diet.
