Melon Meringue With Raspberry

For 4 persons- Preparation: 25 min – Cooking: 15 min

  • Ingredients

2 small melons
2 tablespoons brown sugar
20 g butter
15 raspberries

For meringue:
5 egg whites
150 g of sugar

  • Preparation

Cut the melons in half.
Remove the seeds.
Melt the brown sugar and butter in a frying pan.
Put the 4 halves of melon to be colored on their cut side.

For meringue:
Whisk in a bowl the 5 whites of eggs in firm snow.
Gently stir in sugar until smooth and shiny.
Place in the center of each half of melon a few raspberries.
Garnish with meringue using a tablespoon.

  • Dressage

Before serving, put the meringue melons in the oven at 160 °C for 10 min.
Remove once the meringue is colored.
Serve immediately.
